The parties met for Negotiations on March 14, 2018 at the Wyndham, Chicago O’Hare. Present for the Company were Bob Frisch, COO and Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources. Present for your Union were General Chair, Jerry Lemke, Negotiation Committee Members Allan James Ross, Jason Saledas, Seneca Harris and Gary Vargo. Joining your Negotiating Committee was Rich Johnsen, Grand Lodge Representative.
Start of the session there was a discussion concerning the bonus letters, including attendance as stated in the letters, also future increase in manning in ATW, DAY and MKE.
The Union informed the Company that we are no longer on board with the new hire LOA, due to the fact that the Company awarded GSO and HPN to an outside vendor (see last bulletin) and the bonus letters that have been issued. The Company accused the Union of hoodwinking them. The Union informed the Company that was not our intent.
The Union passed a counter comprehensive proposal that included the following Articles 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 36, TBD 1 Uniforms, Growth LOA, Retention Pay LOA, LOA on future stations and LOA on New Hires.
At this point we have accomplished Tentative Agreements on Articles 3, 4, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 30, 31, 32, 34, and 35.
No future dates have been set at this time.
