LOCAL LODGE 1725 YOUNG WORKERS COMMITTEE BOWLING NIGHT

As the IAM continues to grow, it’s becoming especially important to attract and engage our young members. These young people are full of energy and great ideas and they are the future of our union!

The Young Workers Committee at Victory Lodge 1725 in Charlotte hosted a Bowling Night event Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Spare Time Entertainment in Pineville, NC.

The goal was to get as many young (and young at heart) members to come out for a fun night of bowling, food, and fellowship and meet and engage not only with fellow young members but also leadership from the Local Lodge, District Lodges 141 and 142, and Air Transport Territory.

Committee Chair Nolan Arnold and Victory Lodge 1725 President Helena Thornton were joined by Air Transport Territory GVP Richie Johnsen and Air Transport Chief of Staff Edison Fraser.

Here are pictures from the fun night. If you are a member of Local 1725 and want to get involved with the next event, reach out to Nolan Arnold or Helen Thornton, or your shop stewards. If your local does not have a Young Workers Committee, now is a great time to get one started!
