Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Memorial Day is more than just a three-day weekend. It’s meaning is not found in barbecues and beach trips. It’s an important day of recognition and remembrance, a meaningful and somber reminder of the sacrifice that so many have made for our freedom.
As we commemorate Memorial Day 2023, let us take a moment to give thanks to those who paid the ultimate price in defending this nation, as well as those still serving on its behalf today.
Let all of us at District Lodge 142 remember and honor these heroes with grateful hearts and patriotic pride this Memorial Day. Sincerely and fraternally,
John M. Coveny, Jr.
