Dear Sisters and Brothers:
National Group Protection (NGP) has informed us of the upcoming enrollment opportunity for the supplemental benefits offered to IAM District 142 CS&S members at Southwest Airlines. In addition to the already valuable benefits NGP offers, they have assured us they are continually working on ways to better engage with our CS&S members who work remotely, and the first step is to provide more opportunities to enroll.
- The next CS&S enrollment is scheduled for August 7 – 15, 2023 (weekdays only).
- Members will be able to call the 800 number on the attached flyer and talk with a live benefit counselor.
- Members can ask questions about their current coverage and elect coverage if they are not currently insured and/or want to add plans or increase current coverage.
- There is a landing page web address on the attached flyer that will take members to a website with more information including a copy of the benefit brochure which outlines all of the plans.
NGP has informed us that their plan right now is to have a quarterly enrollment period and to continue to look into ways to make the process easier for our members.
Please help get the word out to your fellow CS&S members so that they are made aware of this open enrollment. Feel free to share this bulletin with anyone you know who may not be signed up to receive DL 142 emails and encourage them to sign up for our emails so that they are the first to know about opportunities such as this when they become available.
