Preparations for Contract Negotiations between IAM District 142 and CommuteAir have begun.
In January of 2023, your District 142 leadership met with CommuteAir leadership to explore the possibility of opening negotiations early. While the company was originally open to this option, they were ultimately not able to find time in their schedule. Despite this setback, we look forward to opening negotiations in July of 2023.
Your participation is essential if we are to obtain the best possible contract for our members. In the coming weeks a Call for Contract Proposals will be sent out to our membership at CommuteAir. After your District 142 Negotiating Committee reviews the proposals that you submit, a survey of the membership will follow. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard in order to ensure that your negotiating committee is fully aware of the wants and desires of the membership.
Please be mindful of upcoming communications from District 142 and help spread the word to your fellow members.
