RETIREES COMMITTEE
Retiring from your company might mean the end of your career, but it doesn’t mean the end of your union membership! When you retire as a member in good standing, you are afforded all the same rights and opportunities as any dues-paying member for the rest of your life.
Retirees are often some of the most active and involved members in our locals and at the district level. You will find retirees occupying positions on executive boards, committees and as staff members. Many of our retired members also get involved in local and state government and serve on councils and AFL-CIO committees.
The opportunities are endless.
Ready to get involved? District 142 is actively seeking members to join our retirees committee. If you are interested contact Retirees Committee Chair Rick Lo Verde at rloverde@iamdl142.org or (724) 544-6113.
