IAM History/Experience: In or around the late 90s, I became a Shop Steward and around 2005 and 2006 I became Chief Shop Steward for the maintenance department and remain Chief Shop Steward til this day. I’ve held a position of Vice President at our Local and presently hold the position of President for Local 1445. Also Northeast VP for the New Jersey State Council of Machinists. 

Classes you’ve taken at the IAM’s William W. Winpisinger Center: I have completed Leadership One and an election course at Winpisinger.

What do you love most about your job? Quite simply helping out members, showing them how to sign up for a 401(k), helping them look up their pension, etc. If they’re not sure about something in the contract, help clear that up.
