On June 18 – 20, 2019, your Committee met with the Company in Dallas, Texas at Southwest Airlines Headquarters to continue contract negotiations. This week an Agreement in Principle was reached for Letter of Understanding with Temporary Assignment Guidelines-Customer Service Agents. The Company responded with Article Eleven (Filling of Vacancies) which prompted constructive discussions with regards to this Article as well as Articles Five (Classification), Six (Hours of Service), Seven (Overtime) and Ten (Part-Time Employees).
Upcoming sessions are scheduled for July 9 – 11, 2019 and July 16 -18, 2019 in Dallas. Your solidarity and support are appreciated.
