After many long months of negotiations, we are announcing today that a Tentative Agreement has been reached between the company and your negotiating committee. This Tentative Agreement guarantees a defined grievance procedure and contains many improvements to the general working conditions. It also contains the company’s last, best, and final offer on wages, healthcare, and retirement. However, this Tentative Agreement still needs to be voted on and ratified by you, the members of the Fueler and Lead Fueler classification.
What happens next?
1. In the coming days, you will be given and sign for a copy of the agreement.
2. Offsite meetings will be scheduled to explain the agreement and you will be able to get answers to any questions you may have.
3. On a date (yet to be determined but after the offsite meetings) there will be a ratification vote.
Please stay informed – there will be additional updates indicating when and where the offsite meetings will be held and when and where the vote will take place.
