Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAM District 142 met with Air Wisconsin on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Local 1487 in Chicago. During this meeting, we successfully secured the final, signed Tentative Agreements (TAs) covering all outstanding non‑economic and economic articles.
- For the COFPS group, Tentative Agreements were reached on Articles 7, 8, 11, 12, and 35.
- For the M&R group, Tentative Agreements were reached on Articles 7, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 38.
The next phase of this process will take place over the coming days. Redline versions of both Tentative Agreements will be prepared and reviewed for approval before being distributed to all members on file. At the same time, your Negotiating Committee will finalize an informational station‑visit schedule for both the MKE and ATW stations. Following these visits, a ratification vote will be conducted.
We want to personally thank the entire Air Wisconsin membership for your unwavering solidarity and patience as this process reached its conclusion. Over the past three years, negotiations have taken place against the backdrop of extreme challenges; base closures, multiple WARN notices, and the difficult reality of sisters and brothers being forced to seek work elsewhere due to circumstances beyond their control.
Despite these hardships, your commitment and unity allowed Air Wisconsin to keep moving forward, keep its doors open, and remain a viable option for future investment. Your resilience throughout this period has been nothing short of inspiring to the leadership of District 142.
Sincerely and fraternally,
| John M. Coveny, Jr. President/Directing General Chair | Justin Bates General Chair | John Bidoglio General Chair |
