Dear Sisters and Brothers:
As we come together for the Thanksgiving holiday, IAM District 142 sincerely thanks each and every one of our members. Among all the things we can be grateful for, we are most thankful for your dedication, strength, and unwavering solidarity.
We know the world today can feel scary, challenging, and filled with more bad news than good. Yet even in difficult times, there remain countless things to be grateful for: our families, our coworkers, our communities, and the bond we share as union members.
We also ask everyone to be mindful of those who may be struggling this holiday season. For many, this time of year can be especially hard due to personal hardships or the loss of a loved one. Please check in on one another, offer kindness where you can, and remember that your union family stands with you.
To all of our members who will be working on Thanksgiving, serving passengers, keeping aircraft safe, and ensuring the operation keeps moving, we offer a very special thank you. We see you, and we deeply appreciate the sacrifices you make and the contributions you bring to our collective success.
