Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your TWU/IAM Association Negotiation Committee for M&R, MCT, MLS and MTS met at TWU Local 514 near the Tulsa Maintenance Base the week of March 18th to 22nd to further enhance the existing Joint Collective Bargaining Agreements and develop new language.
Sub-Committee Representatives from Maintenance Control Technicians, Planners, Ground Service Equipment Mechanics, and Facilities Maintenance Mechanics Sub-Committees were present and presented their proposals to the Committee. The Sub-Committees are playing a vital role in helping the Committee understand and acknowledge their input from their Members and the unique requirements and challenges faced by these work groups.
To ensure preparedness for the upcoming Section 6 negotiations with American Airlines, your Committee will continue to maintain an intensive meeting schedule. The next meeting is scheduled to take place in CLT the first week of April.
Once again, we extend our gratitude for your patience and solidarity as we undertake the necessary steps to prepare for negotiations regarding the new Collective Bargaining Agreements. Your support remains crucial for the success of the Negotiation Committee in achieving its objectives in the upcoming weeks and months.
