The Omicron variant of Covid is surging in many parts of the Country. Debates over masking effectiveness, along with changing and confusing vaccine mandates, are affecting many of our teammates adversely. Staffing shortages, are also creating extremely high stress levels in many of our work areas.
I would like to remind our members the District Local 142 Employee Assistance Program is here to help in any way we can. We have very little control over the circumstances contributing to these issues, but we do have resources and strategies to help our members deal with them.
