The District (D.) 142 EAP Committee is enthusiastically planning an EAP Coordinator Summit and Training. The training will be held according to the following details:
- Who: D. 142 EAP Coordinators
- Location: D. 142 Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona
- Travel dates: Monday, August 31 & Thursday, September 3, 2026
- Training dates: Tuesday, September 1 & Wednesday, September 2, 2026
- Training times: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. AZ MST each day
- Theme: The Dandelion Journey: Rooted in Resilience, Growing in Hope
Locals are to support EAP Coordinators with all expenses associated with attendance to include: lost time, lodging, meals, expenses, per diem and transportation to and from the sessions.
Included in the topics covered are:
- Strategies for using EAP principles to support our members.
- EAP services across Company benefit plans.
- Why confidentiality is mandatory.
- Foundational and advanced training for EAP Coordinators.
