Your District 142 Negotiations Committee and Aer Lingus leadership resumed talks aimed at improving the current Collective Bargaining Agreements on November 7 and 8, 2023, in Jericho, New York.
After a full review of the two agreements, the Union proposed changes to the following articles:
- Article 8 – Seniority, Yellow and Purple books
- Article 13 – Grievance Procedure, Yellow and Purple books
- Article 16 – General and Miscellaneous, Yellow and Purple books
- Article 18 – Union Security, Yellow and Purple books
- Article 20 – Severance, Purple book
- Article 21 – Remote Worker, Purple book
- Schedule A – Rates of Pay, Yellow and Purple books
- Schedule A – Premiums, Yellow book
- Appendix J – Pension, Yellow and Purple books
- Letter of Understanding – No Lay-off, Yellow and Purple books
We reached tentative agreements on Articles 8 and 16.
The Company is currently analyzing the remaining articles, including the cost of our economic proposals.
