Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your District 142 Joint Alaska-Hawaiian negotiating team continued Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) negotiations with the company this week at the Alaska Airlines Flight Operations building in Seattle.
Your committee presented to the Company and discussed the following articles:
- Home Agents- The Union and the company reached a tentative agreement on this article.
- DPASA Letter- The Union and Company exchanged proposals, but no tentative agreement has been reached yet.
- PPG employees- The Union and Company exchanged proposals on this letter. No tentative agreement has been reached.
- Bilingual- The Union and Company exchanged proposals on this letter. No agreement has been reached.
Other conversations primarily centered around Scope. While no formal passes were made on this subject, meaningful conversations took place that we hope have brought us closer to the ultimate goal of bringing you the best possible contract.
Our next session with the company is scheduled for the week of June 8th in Seattle.
