The IAM/Bahamasair Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) becomes amendable on December 31, 2026. In accordance with Article 24 of the current Agreement and Section 6 of the Railway Labor Act, the Union has notified the Company of its intention to negotiate changes to the Agreement.
IAM District 142 is now accepting contract proposals from Bahamasair members. This is your opportunity to identify changes you would like to see in the Agreement and help shape the Union’s priorities for negotiations.
All proposals must be submitted online using the contract proposal form at https://atd142.org/bahamasair-contract-proposals/.
The online form will ask you to enter your full name, Bahamasair employee number, your IAM book number (optional), your classification, and the contract language you would like to see changed. If you are submitting new contract language that is not in the current agreement, simply enter “New” in the Article, Paragraph, and Page sections of the form.
The deadline for all submissions is December 1, 2026. Only online submissions will be accepted. You may submit as many proposals as you wish. Complete a separate online form for each proposal and submit each form individually.
