Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM District 142 Negotiating Committee met virtually with Menzies on September 16 and 17 to continue discussions on wages and the remaining open items in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
After the membership rejected the previous tentative agreement, your Committee returned to the bargaining table with a clear message: address the membership’s concerns and secure improvements that better reflect our members’ priorities. Throughout these discussions, the Committee remained united and firm in advocating for the issues that matter most to you.
We are pleased to report that productive discussions took place over both days, and the parties made substantial progress toward resolving the remaining issues.
While a few final items remain, we are encouraged by the progress made and believe we are nearing the finish line. We appreciate your patience, support, and solidarity throughout this process.
