Dear Sisters and Brothers:
District 142 has received approval from International President Brian Bryant for a special dispensation that changes how absentee ballots will be handled during the upcoming District Officer Election endorsement and General Election.
Instead of absentee ballots being sent to election P.O. Boxes at each local, all absentee ballots will now be sent directly to the District 142 Election P.O. Box.
This change was made to address challenges we’ve experienced during past elections and to ensure a more reliable process across our 43 locals. With absentee voting continuing to increase, centralizing ballot collection will help protect election integrity and reduce the risk of ballot-handling issues.
