Lufthansa Technik Wage Increase Delays Update

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

We want to make all employees aware of a recent issue concerning the contractual wage increases that were scheduled to take effect in July.

The Company has approached the Union multiple times requesting that the July wage increases be delayed due to the GAP. Their most recent proposal sought to postpone the raises until October. In addition to delaying the increases by three months, the Company also requested that employees forgo any retroactive back pay for the period from July through September.

After carefully reviewing each proposal, the Union has rejected the Company’s requests every time they have been presented.

These wage increases were negotiated as part of our collective bargaining agreement and were intended to be implemented according to the agreed-upon timeline. The Union remains steadfast in its position that employees are entitled to the wages, benefits, and contractual protections that were negotiated and ratified.

We understand that many members may have questions regarding the status of these raises. We want to ensure that everyone receives accurate information directly from their Union representatives rather than through rumors or speculation. Should the contractual wage increases not be reflected on your next paycheck, we will work closely with your Delegates to determine the appropriate course of action and to protect the rights of our membership.Thank you for your continued support, solidarity, and commitment to standing together.

Sincerely and fraternally,

John M. Coveny, Jr.                                                    Todd Roan
