Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAM District 142 is pleased to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement for our members at Menzies Aviation ORD 403.
Highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- $.50 cents for all hours worked in 2023 retro from Jan 15 2023 to Jan 15 2024 for all members above scale.
- All members in scale will receive applicable retro pay.
- Raises will be on the anniversary of employees in scale as shown $.50, $1.00, $1.00.
- $1.00 on Jan 15, 2024 for those above scale.
- $1.00 on Jan 15, 2025 for those above scale.
- $250.00 signing bonus for all those in scale.
- Increase to $1.50 per hour Lead differential.
- Increase to $2.00 per hour Quality Control Technician differential.
- GSE Mechanic starting wage increase.
- Increase to $1.00 per hour Designated Trainer premium.
- $350.00 for everyone out of the scale.
- 90 Minutes notification and rotating list for mandatory Overtime.
- Contracts printed within 60 days.
- Juneteenth Holiday.
- Pro-rated vacation for probation people starts Jan of 2024.
- Sick time pay out at 60% upon retirement.

The Ratification Vote will be conducted online beginning March 8, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. CST and ending March 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. CST. A separate bulletin will be posted shortly with the information you will need to cast your vote.
