Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Following the conclusion of negotiations and reaching a Tentative Agreement (TA), we wanted to share the timeline and details regarding ratification. Your Negotiating Committee members and District 142 General Chair will be available in the breakroom on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14th and 15th, from 6:00 am-8:00 am and again from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm to answer your questions regarding the TA.
Voting on the TA will commence on Tuesday, July 21st, 07:00 am CST and run until Wednesday July 22nd at 5:00 pm CST. The ratification will be conducted electronically, which requires everyone to provide their personal email and cell phone number. If you haven’t yet done so, please contact a member of the negotiating committee.
Shortly after voting opens on July 16th, you will receive an email and/or text message from Election Buddy with a link to the online voting site. Click the link and follow the instructions to cast your vote. After the voting window closes on June 17th, we will tally the votes, post the results on our website, and email and/or text them to each member.
You must be a dues-paying IAM member to vote. If you are not currently a member of the IAM, you can complete a membership application online and join today! There you will find a link to the membership application, along with a short tutorial to help you complete it successfully.
