Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Following the failed tentative agreement announced on August 21, 2026, IAM District 142 and Signature Flight reconvened negotiations on September 10, 17 & 21 virtually. Your negotiating committee was present for all meetings except for Justin Dominiak who made the decision to no longer participate in negotiations.
Following the survey provided to our SFS MDW membership, and the feedback received, we returned to the table trying to address the key concerns you identified. They were contract term, wages, part-time employees and vacation bidding. These issues were addressed with the Company during negotiations, and the following tentative agreements were achieved.
| * GWI of 4% – 5% – 4% – 4% CBA – 18.11% over 4 year term * New part-time employee usage restriction language | * New part-time cap at 25%-previously unlimited * Vacation bidding implementation delayed until 2027 |
Please note that all remaining tentatively agreed to language remains the same. Only the above changes will be reflected as completely bold and red language in their respective areas of the TA2 document.
The completed TA2 document will be released concurrently with this bulletin and can be found on the IAM District 142 website at www.iamdl142.org. Your General Chairperson will be available in the station on 9-29 to 9-30 on all shifts. Additional details regarding the TA vote process will be provided in a separate bulletin. This agreement expires at midnight on Friday, October 2, 2026 with no guarantees of any further extensions. Your entire negotiating committee as listed below endorses this TA and encourages all members to vote YES!
