Dear Sisters and Brothers:
The ratification vote for the second Tentative Agreement (TA) will open on Thursday, October 1, at 9:00 am Central Time and close on Friday, October 2, at 5:00 pm Central Time.
Voting will be online only! On or before October 1, you will receive an email from Election Buddy at your personal email address. This email will include a link to the voting site and detailed instructions on how to cast your vote. Failure to follow these instructions will result in you not being able to vote on the Tentative Agreement.
As a reminder, under Article 4 of the past and current agreements, all Signature employees must become members of the Union. To vote on a TA, an employee must be a “member in good standing” as defined by the contract. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, check your paycheck information. If you pay full Union dues, you are considered a member in good standing and eligible to vote. Voting eligibility is determined by a membership report generated by the District 142 office.
Employees who are not currently paying Union dues will need to complete an online membership application to vote. You may complete a membership application online at this link: https://atd142.org/iam-district-142-membership/
Your District 142 General Chair, James M. Samuel, will be on-site at Signature Flight Support MDW on Tuesday, September 29, and Wednesday, September 30, to address any questions or concerns regarding this TA.
